What To Expect
Grounded in my fellowship training in the collaborative care model of integrated care, I want to make psychiatric consultations smooth, quick, and helpful for you and your patient.

Submit a referral form or send via fax or secure email. After obtaining the patient’s consent, please include:
Patient demographic and clinical details
Reason for referral, including key questions you’d like addressed
Note whether you’re seeking a consult only or consult and treat
A release of information if you’d like two-way communication
Once received, I typically reach out to the patient within 1–2 business days.

I will meet with your patient for a psychiatric evaluation, at which time I will provide diagnostic clarification, and discuss treatment recommendations with your patient.
During the visit, I’ll request consent to release records back to you.

After the visit, you will receive a copy of the psychiatric evaluation with clear, bulleted treatment recommendations:
Medication treatment recommendations with flexible dosing
Clinical considerations (e.g., side effects, interactions) and monitoring recommendations
Other recommended next steps
