She/Her

I work to understand your health in the context of your life, not reduce you to a diagnosis. I meet each person with curiosity and respect for their lived experiences.

The Graham Practice

The Graham Practice is a solo private psychiatric practice serving adults, including perinatal women.

Dr. Graham personally provides all evaluations, medication management, and consultation services.

  • My approach to psychiatric care is straightforward and structured.

I focus on making sure we have the right target (accurate diagnoses) and safe, effective treatment.

I use the lowest dose of medication that works. Where I can, I increase or make other changes to current medications before adding new medications. I recommend effective non-medication treatments.

  • I value respect, autonomy, transparency, empowerment, accountability.

    I rely on evidence-based approaches.

Equity forms the foundation of my treatment philosophy.

  • When I was working as a registered nurse in an infant and early childhood mental health program, I felt frustrated at the limited mental health resources in our community. Since the women I was working with were often not receiving the treatment they needed and deserved, I was left feeling ill-prepared to deal with their mental health needs. I decided going back to school would better prepare me to meet this care gap in my community.

Now I have over six years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. For five of those years, I helped people with severe mental illness at Western State Hospital.

I chose private practice so I could offer more personalized, attentive care than is often possible in larger healthcare organizations.

  • I work with adults, including pregnant and postpartum women with symptoms of anxiety, mood disorders, and other mental health issues.
