I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Washington. I have specialized training in adolescent health and community-based integrated care. I also have extensive experience treating people with complex mental health conditions.
Many patients come to me because they feel overlooked in large health systems. Some organizations send my patients elsewhere. They think their needs are "too complex." I care for those who haven't found the right fit yet.
I work to understand your health in the context of your life, not reduce you to a diagnosis. I meet each person with curiosity and respect for their lived experiences. Sometimes, I may not get it right.
Why Work With Me
I work in Lakewood and provide telehealth services throughout Washington. I have over six years of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. For five of those years, I helped people with severe mental illness at Western State Hospital. I also have 20 years of experience as a registered nurse. I chose this work because I care about my community's health. I want to help others learn to recognize what’s already working for them — and build on it in practical ways.
My approach to psychiatric care is straightforward and structured. My work focuses on accurate diagnosis and safe, effective medication management. I also offer short-term, targeted counseling and psychotherapies based on evidence.
I value respect, autonomy, transparency, empowerment, accountability. I rely on evidence-based approaches. Equity forms the foundation of my treatment philosophy.
